Charity Wedding Extravaganza (Mining Exchange Ballarat)

Dear Adam,

On behalf of Special Olympics Ballarat Region, we take this opportunity to tank you for your dedication, energy and commitment undertaking to stage the successful Wedding Extravaganza on Sunday. Providing financial assistance to our region as we undertake the challenge of staging the 2007 Special Olympic Winter State Games in Ballarat 6th & 7th October 2007 is tremendous and we are so grateful but more importantly was the teamwork, atmosphere and general feel good vibes that generated around the venue especially Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

The ability for our athletes to compete at events such as the Winter State Games is an opportunity that was previously unimaginable for our athletes with intellectual disabilities. The benefits of being part of a team allows our athletes to have experience of a life time, make many new friends, plus they will grow in confidence in their own ability to achieve in the sporting arena. This greater confidence will generate dreams and aspirations and provide them with new skills necessary to handle challenges in their every day life and to be positive about their future.

From all at Special Olympics Ballarat we are so grateful for all your time, work and effort that you contributed to staging the wonderful Wedding Extravaganza.
